We curate monthly exhibitions featuring contemporary art and crafts.
The exhibitions are open to non-staying guests as well.
MOCHI-TSUKI (RICE CAKE MAKING)
Every 5th day of the month is Mochi-tsuki day, the day on which we make fresh, pounded rice cakes. Guests may savour fresh Mochi and try their hands at making Mochi themselves.
MUSIC CONCERT
Every 26th of the month Daikokuya hosts a concert. Since 2003, We have welcomed piano, string and vocal recitals, and concerts have ranged from Japanese traditional music to opera.
